Cooking dinner in this well equipped kitched won't be a choreThe breakfast bar divides kitchen and dining area. The dining table sits four people The cottage is double glazed and centrally heated throughout to make sure you're always warm and comfortable.

You enter through french doors and find yourself in a modern kitchen equipped with a fridge, freezer, oven and hob, microwave and a breakfast bar.

There are plenty of herbs and spices in the spice rack but feel free to pick some fresh rosemary or thyme from the cottage's own herb garden. Freshly laid eggs from our free range hens and ducks are available most of the time.

The living room is cosy and the comfortable sofa can easily be converted into a sofabed. There's a TVwith a freeview box and DVD player as well as a radio/cassette with CD player. On the bookcase you will find a good selection of local maps for ramblers and cyclists and a selection of books and magazines. You can enjoy a game of cards or a boardgame if you like.

No need to worry about the noise of traffic keeping you awake here - but you may hear some owls hoot!

The bathroom is tastefully tiled and has got a bath with high powered quality shower above. We will provide all your linen and fluffy towels.


In the garden you can relax on the patio or lawn, enjoy the herb garden and fruit trees (help yourself!) or have a barbeque.


The cuckoo is becoming rare in other areas but can frequently be heard in the garden in springSeeing a barn owl is special every single timeThe garden is surrounded by a mixed native hedge to attract as many birds as possible. We have just put up an owl nesting box and hope that some of the local barn owls will soon move in!

There is a car parking space at the rear of the cottage. We also provide a safe place to lock up your bicycles and dry your wet clothes and boots.
